Laughter Yoga on KBDI- 12!

Hello fellow laughers;

We just returned from a wonderful Laughter Yoga Leader Conference in Estes Park, held by the American School of Laughter Yoga, with leaders from all over the US and around the world. We are inspired, and hope many of you who attended are also inspired to spread laughter and joy with enthusiasm!

Consider taking our upcoming Certified Laughter Leader Training on November 6th and 7th if you are interested in becoming a part of this grassroots movement for peace and joy!

Laughter Yoga on KBDI- 12 This Sunday Oct. 4 at 9:30 on....

Laughter Yoga will be featured on KBDI Channel 12 this Sunday!

Out of Order is not here to explain, we are here to explore!

Channel 12 viewers are about to see Colorado from a completely new angle.
On Sunday, Oct. 4 at 9:30 p.m. KBDI will air the 30-minute pilot episode of Out of Order, a quarterly magazine-format television show that will cover the Front Range from all angles with an eclectic mix of profiles, commentaries and offbeat features.
Created by award-winning Channel 12 producers, Out of Order will offer a platform to those that might not have a voice within the mainstream.
Designed to appeal to diverse audiences, the program’s fast-paced approach offers viewers a dynamic collection of segments.
In the pilot episode, the Out of Order team features:
Dick and Lois Meis, local legendary country musicians who have been playing music together since the early 1950s, playing with legends such as Johnny Cash and Loretta Lynn. Out of Order looks at their history as musicians and as a married couple playing over a lifetime.

  • An art segment features Rex Ray and his exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
  • The producers’ visit to a Laughter Yoga class; a hybrid mix of yoga and forced laughter. The adults get wilder than a bunch of third graders. Is laughter really the best medicine?
  • Christine Bakke, who shares her experience with Gay Rehab, a formal attempt to “reprogram” persons through reparative therapy..
  • A segment on the world of news and how it has changed with the recent increase in technology and blog-based news sources.
We hope you are enjoying our wonderful fall weather and we hope to laugh with you soon at one of our Laughter Club meetings. Check our website for updated club meeting times and locations. Denver Laughter Club is back meeting at 1400 Lafayette (Laffy- ette) St. for the fall on Mondays at 12:00 noon, after a great summer of club meetings at Chessman Park.
In love and laughter, with many hugs to each one of you,
Meredee and Davee
