Certified Laughter Yoga Leader trainings are offered from time to time by Meredith and David Vaughn, Laughter Yoga Teachers, who trained with Dr. Kataria in March of 2006. They offer 2 day Certified trainings for those interested in becoming Laughter Leaders, forming Laughter Clubs, or taking these practices to special needs groups, i.e. senior centers, addiction groups, health centers, businesses, etc. The Vaughns have trained more than 70 laughter leaders and the two day trainings are tons of fun!
The next certified Laughter Leader training will be held in Denver in the fall of 2008. Specific dates to be announced. Email Meredith if you are interested in attending a training session.
The cost of the training is $250.00 (a few scholarships available), which includes a comprehensive training manual, a DVD, the book "Laugh for No Reason" by Dr. Kataria, and an official diploma signed by Dr. Kataria.
Location will be at the First Unitarian Church, 1400 Lafayette St., Denver. This is a two day laugh fest, and gives you everyting you need to start a laughter club or take it to schools, businesses, special needs groups, etc. If you are interested in attending, please email Meredith at mere@denverlaughs.com and a full training description and a registration form will be sent to you.
Instructors: David and Meredith Vaughn, Laughter Yoga Teachers certified by Dr. Kataria in 2006. Meredith is a Hatha Yoga, Chi Kung, meditation teacher, and wedding celebrant. David is a fun loving residential architect and co-leader in Laughter Yoga and Chi Kung.
